The Grand Marshal Announcement

Our Grand Marshal this year embodies the July 4th theme – it's all about what unites our community. Greg Comfort Sr. and honoring the memory of Robin Hess Comfort, lifelong Golden Bears who have devoted themselves to service in UA in countless ways. Their leadership, humility and commitment to Upper Arlington make them the perfect choice for this honor. ❤️🤍💙

Greg Comfort

2025 Grand Marshall Announcement

Each year, the Fourth of July celebration is an opportunity to reflect on the people who have shaped Upper Arlington—not just through leadership, but through love, legacy, and lifelong commitment to community. That’s why we are so proud to honor Greg Comfort Sr. and honor the memory of Robin Comfort as our 2025 Grand Marshals. Greg has spent decades leading efforts that have touched nearly every part of our city—from the UA Education Foundation to the Community Foundation, school levy campaigns, and planning for the new community center. He continues to serve quietly and faithfully, always putting community first. Robin was a lifelong Golden Bear who devoted herself to education and service. She served as PTO President at every level and spent over a decade on the UA Board of Education, helping lead the transformation of our school facilities. She also gave back through the UACA, Pleasure Guild, Boy Scouts, and more—always focused on making UA a better place for all families. Please join us in celebrating our 2025 Grand Marshals— Greg Comfort Sr. and remembering Robin Comfort .
