Since the 1920’s U.A. has made the Fourth of July a special community event.
Independence Day will be here before you know it. We are looking forward to celebrating this event with everyone on Friday July 4th, 2025

Paul Revere’s Ride (The Morning Wakeup Call)
The tradition of Paul Revere’s ride began in 1938. Vehicles with loud speakers drove through the neighborhoods to wake-up the residents. It was a call to assemble and that the Celebration is to begin.
The tradition will continue this year, with citywide “Parade Wake-Up Calls” starting at 6:30 a.m. on the morning July 4th. That’s when UACA volunteers hustle through the streets of Upper Arlington to noisily announce that the much anticipated day of celebration has begun.
