UA Stage

If you are a UA resident age 60 or older, or you are a current member of the UA Senior Center (and are age 50+), we invite you to register to attend a free dinner and dress rehearsal performance of UAHS's musical

Memorial Day Run

The 5k and 1 mile courses race through the crowd filled and fast streets of Upper Arlington providing a great experience for serious and casual runners alike. All proceeds will benefit the charitable functions of the UACA. Participants will receive an official UACA Memorial Day Run event shirt and Official Finisher’s Medal. Awards given to Top Finishers following the race.

Labor Neighbor Day

This year we will continue the tradition of holding a bike race competition, pet parade for and a Wiffle ball tournament on Labor Day with the races in the morning and the tournaments in the afternoon

Golden Bear Scare

There are rumblings occuring in Smith Nature Park as Old Man Smith and the haunted forest is coming to life. Come out to the Park as a UACA 'Scare Ranger' will help guide along the path explaining how it came to be haunted! The forest starts less haunted for the little ones and gets progressively scarier as the night unfolds. 

Junior Director Program

Junior Directors (JDs) are expected to participate in all community events sponsored by the UACA between January of their junior year through December of their senior year.

Golden Apple Awards

Since 1981, the Golden Apple Awards have rewarded the fantastic faculty and staff members of our schools (40+ years of celebrating excellence)! Since 1996, they have been presented at all of the public and private schools located within Upper Arlington based on nominations madeby students, parents and peers. 

4th of July Parade and Party in the Park

As one of the largest running community events in Upper Arlington, the 4th of July Parade and Party in the Park events are the “can’t miss” events in UA this summer. We are looking forward to celebrating this event with everyone on the 4th. 

Neighbors Night Out

Food, festivities and fundraising! An evening for all neighbors – newcomers and lifelong residents – to meet and mingle while supporting the Upper Arlington Civic Association. Neighbors Night Out is UACA’s newest event and we want to see the whole community there!

Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park is an event run by the volunteer directors of the Upper Arlington Civic Association.  Santa is waiting for you at Christmas in the Park.

Bear and Star Painting

Love the Golden Bear.  Have one painted on your driveway.  Twice a year we head out and add fun bears and stars to UA driveways.
